Designed specifically to reduce catheter dislodgement and to better conform around the BD Nexiva ™ Closed Catheter System. The dressing has reinforced borders and notches designed to create a better seal around the catheter, extend wear time, reduce edge lift, and offer convenience and versatility. Sterile tape strips are provided for catheter securement. Breathable film allows moisture vapor and oxygen exchange. Transparent dressing allows easy monitoring of IV sites without dressing removal. Unique picture-frame style allows one-handed application and less waste. Sterile, waterproof dressing provides a bacterial and viral barrier to outside contaminants and allows the patient to shower. |
